Buying · A more informed search

The right home works
after move-in day, too.

For many clients, the search involves balancing Manhattan access with space, schools, neighborhood amenities, building quality, and budget. There is rarely one perfect answer. The value is in understanding the trade-offs before you commit.

How I can help

  • Clarify priorities, timing, and budget
  • Compare towns, buildings, and property types
  • Coordinate efficient home tours
  • Discuss condition, maintenance, and renovation questions
  • Review comparable sales and offer strategy
  • Coordinate inspection, attorney, lender, and closing milestones
02 / Common search paths

Different moves need
different questions.

My work often involves people making a significant transition across the Hudson or within North Jersey.

01

Relocating from Manhattan

Compare commute patterns, space, transit options, and neighborhood routines, not just distance on a map.

02

Moving from a condo to a house

Consider maintenance, property taxes, renovations, schools, outdoor space, and the practical costs of ownership.

03

Choosing a waterfront building

Look beyond views and amenities to monthly costs, reserves, building documents, rules, and property-specific risks.

04

Selling and buying together

Plan both transactions around one timeline, with financing and contingencies mapped in advance.

03 / How I think about representation

Honest advice
includes the downsides.

My role is not to push you toward the next available property. It is to help you assess what fits, what does not, where more diligence is needed, and when walking away may be the better decision.

Before touring, we will discuss representation and the buyer agreement, including the scope of services and compensation, so expectations are clear. In New Jersey, commissions are negotiable.
